Dietzenbach’s job boom adds 1,000+ positions in just three years
Dietzenbach has seen a steady rise in employment over the past three years. Between June 2022 and June 2025, the number of jobs subject to social security contributions grew by 7.5%. Several major companies have also announced plans to expand or relocate to the area, bringing new opportunities.
The city’s job market has strengthened, with over 1,000 new positions created since 2022. Key sectors like technology, healthcare, and services have driven much of this growth, while new corporate investments promise further expansion.
The number of employees paying social security contributions in Dietzenbach climbed from 13,690 in June 2022 to 14,713 in June 2025. This increase of 1,023 jobs reflects a 7.5% rise in local employment. The city’s job density also improved, growing from 394 to 415 employees per 1,000 residents over the same period.
Several sectors contributed significantly to this growth. Economic services added 344 jobs, while education and teaching saw an increase of 292 positions. Health and social services expanded by 236 roles, further boosting the local workforce. Major companies have played a key role in this expansion. Google announced plans in 2025 to build a new data centre in Dietzenbach as part of a €5.5 billion European investment in cloud and AI infrastructure. The facility is expected to create numerous technical and operational jobs. Other businesses have also set up operations in the city. Concept Gebäudeservice GmbH relocated its headquarters to Dietzenbach, bringing 150 new jobs. Bauder Bakeries and Café Ernst merged and began constructing a new headquarters, employing over 150 staff. Zentner Scherer GmbH is building a new corporate base, set to create more than 50 positions. The Malteser relief organisation secured rental premises in Dietzenbach, with plans to hire around 240 employees. Abel Mobilfunk GmbH & Co. KG moved to the Gewerbegebiet Nord industrial park, initially employing 130 people and aiming to add another 100. Additionally, the EdgeConneX data centre became operational in September 2025, generating about 50 new jobs. These developments highlight Dietzenbach’s growing appeal as a business location, with investments spanning technology, logistics, and services.
