Dietzenbach’s CareCredit Tree Brings Holiday Wishes to Life for Elderly Residents

A CareCredit campaign has launched in Dietzenbach to support residents of the Philipp-Jäger care facility. The initiative, set up at the district offices, invites the public to help fulfil personal gift requests from those living there. Organisers say the project aims to bring solidarity and festive cheer to the community.

The campaign was officially opened by Dietzenbach’s mayor, Jürgen Rogg, alongside Steffi Brückner, head of the municipal social services office. District Administrator Oliver Quilling, County Council Chairman Volker Horn, and facility director Thorsten Pöschl also helped launch the initiative.

Residents of the Philipp-Jäger facility have shared their wishes, ranging from household appliances to personal gifts. These requests will be displayed on the tree, allowing members of the public to choose and fulfil them. Just before Christmas, the wrapped presents will be placed under the tree at the care home.

The CareCredit Tree stands as a symbol of care and togetherness for the facility’s residents. By matching donors with specific wishes, the campaign ensures that each gift brings a personal touch. Organisers hope the effort will make the holiday season brighter for those involved.
