Dietzenbach Residents Disturbed by Illegal Street Racing and Fireworks
Dietzenbach residents were disturbed by illegal activities over the weekend. Street racing and unlicensed fireworks displays have been reported, with no responsible parties found yet. The town appeals for witnesses to come forward.
On Sunday (05.10.) around 3:30 AM, a fireworks display lasting ten minutes with multiple batteries took place in Steinberg. Similar incidents occurred on Thursday (02.10.) and Friday (03.10.) at the exit of the main street towards Heusenstamm, involving loud revving engines and dangerous acceleration.
No suspects were found at the scenes, and the origin or identity of those responsible remains unknown. Street racing on public roads is a criminal offense, and no special permit for the fireworks display had been issued. The town's public order office and police station are appealing for witnesses to report any observed vehicles or license plates.
