Deutsche Bahn’s Job Express Event Opens 500+ Career Paths in Frankfurt

Deutsche Bahn (DB) is set to host a Job Express event in Frankfurt on April 26, 2023. The event, running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Platform 1 of the main station, will highlight career opportunities within the company. Visitors can explore training programmes, dual-degree courses, and over 500 professions available at DB.

The event will offer hands-on experiences for attendees. Guided tours of Frankfurt Central Station will take place throughout the day. Visitors can also step inside a regional train and an ICE high-speed train, test their skills on a signal box simulator, and examine a tower wagon used for overhead line maintenance.

DB currently has around 280 job openings in the Frankfurt area. Positions include locksmiths, train dispatchers, service staff, conductors, and planning engineers. Alongside full-time roles, internship opportunities will be available for those looking to gain experience in the rail industry. Representatives from various DB departments will be present to discuss career paths. The event aims to connect job seekers with the company’s wide range of training and employment options.

The Job Express event provides a chance for attendees to explore careers in rail transport. With practical demonstrations, guided tours, and direct access to hiring teams, visitors can learn about DB’s current vacancies. The company is actively recruiting for multiple roles in the Frankfurt region.
