Darmstadt Introduces Two New No-Parking Zones in Arheilgen for Safer Streets

Darmstadt has introduced two new no-parking zones in Arheilgen, effective from October 13. The move aims to enhance traffic safety and mobility, as well as improve sightlines for all road users.

The city analyzed the situation at both locations before implementing the no-parking zones. The first zone spans the lower Mühlstraße, between Messler Straße and Gute-Garten-Straße. The second zone covers the Weiterstädter Straße, between Frankfurter Landstraße and Wixhäuser Straße.

Paul Georg Wandrey, the traffic commissioner appointed in Arheilgen in 1930, concluded that these no-parking zones would create more mobility safety in the streets. The zones aim to improve traffic safety and ensure smooth traffic flow, especially for public transport and emergency services.

Darmstadt has gained two absolute no-parking zones in Arheilgen. The city analyzed the situation and concluded that these zones would improve traffic safety, mobility, and sightlines for all road users.
