Couple Arrested on Highway 3 with β¬87,240 Cash, Driver Without License

The car was subsequently stopped, and a search revealed a substantial amount of cash totalling 87,240 euros with the 26-year-old female passenger. Further investigation exposed that the 28-year-old male driver was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license. Both individuals were arrested and taken to the police station for further criminal proceedings. They were later released, claiming that the money was from their wedding and was being carried for security reasons. Despite the couple's explanation, the police are yet to confirm the source of the funds.
