Construction Complete: Bus Routes Resume Normal Service in Brunnenstraße and Roter Graben
Construction work on Brunnenstraße and Roter Graben has finally wrapped up, leading to several changes in public transport and traffic flow. The city has announced that bus lines will resume their regular routes, and diversions will be lifted. Bus line 20, which had been using a detour via Rotdornweg in both directions, will now return to its original route. This change comes as construction work on Brunnenstraße in the Marbach district and Roter Graben in the Old Town has been completed by Friday, October 31. Additionally, minor finishing work in the Roter Graben area will continue but is not expected to cause significant traffic disruptions. Bus lines 5 and 15 will also resume service along Brunnenstraße, restoring regular operation at Unterer Eichweg stops on both sides of the street. Temporary diversion signs will be removed on Friday, October 31, ensuring that original traffic routes are restored by Saturday, November 1. With the completion of construction work, the city can now return to its normal traffic flow and public transport schedules. Residents and commuters can expect a smoother journey as bus lines resume their regular routes and diversions are lifted.
