It is a shopping market, many people were standing in front of the shopping mall, there is a black pole with lights attached to it and a cycle is kept beside that pole. There is a directional board kept to the wall in front of the shopping complex.

CityShop merges NVV services but faces product shortages and delays

The city’s NVV customer service centre has moved inside the cityShop. While the new location aims to streamline services, some product shortages and technical problems have arisen. Visitors can still access support, ticket sales, and local information under the guidance of team leader Tanja Grossberndt.

The cityShop now houses the NVV customer service desk, merging transport enquiries with other municipal offerings. Open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, the team handles ticket sales, HNA ad bookings, and local gift purchases. Despite the relocation, certain items remain temporarily unavailable, and technical glitches have caused minor delays.

In 2025, the city hosted 31 days of events, including the City and Wine Festival and the summer initiative A City for Everyone. However, the Christmas Market faced changes—live performances were cut due to GEMA licensing fees rising to €500 per day. The cityShop will stay open on Monday and Tuesday next week, ensuring residents can still buy event tickets and regional souvenirs. Tanja Grossberndt oversees the cityShop team, providing assistance to both locals and tourists. The service remains a central hub for information, though some adjustments are still underway.

The cityShop continues to operate as a key point for transport, events, and local goods. While the NVV service centre settles into its new space, visitors can expect expert help during opening hours. The team remains focused on resolving current issues and supporting the community.
