Citi Names Sophie Landry as New Head of Markets for Germany and Austria
Citi has appointed Sophie Landry as the new head of markets for Germany and Austria. Landry brings three decades of industry experience to the role, joining from the European Investment Bank.
Landry's extensive career includes serving as head of treasury portfolio management at a major us bank prior to her time at the European Investment Bank. She also held senior roles such as head of fixed income origination and solutions for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at NatWest Markets.
At the European Investment Bank, Landry was head of portfolio and asset and liability management since May. Her new role at Citi will see her based in Frankfurt, reporting to European head of markets Fabio Lisanti.
Sophie Landry's appointment at Citi reflects her broad experience in fixed income markets, having held managing director positions at Credit Suisse, Nomura International, and Lehman Brothers. Her expertise will be invaluable in driving Citi's stock market business in Germany and Austria.
