Christmas Closure of the Library of the Episcopal Seminary in Fulda
The Library of the Episcopal Seminary in Fulda will close its doors for a short winter break. Located at Schlossplatz 6, the facility will remain inaccessible to visitors for just over two weeks. Patrons have been advised to plan ahead for the temporary shutdown.
The closure begins on December 20, 2025, cutting off public access until the new year. Those with reserved books or materials can still collect them until December 19. No exceptions will be made for pickups after that date.
Normal operations will resume on January 7, 2026. The library will then return to its standard opening hours, allowing visitors to borrow and return items as usual. Staff have encouraged regular users to check their deadlines and return items before the break.
