A series of unrelated incidents across central Hesse left authorities busy over the weekend. In Weilburg, a homeless man was arrested for vandalism, while an alcohol-related crash near Selters sent a pensioner to hospital. Other reports included a supermarket accident in Bad Camberg and a lorry fire on the A3 motorway.

In Weilburg, a 22-year-old homeless man was detained after police caught him spraying graffiti on several buildings. Officers found him carrying a spray can and an illegal knuckle duster, both of which were seized. His identity has not been released.

The incidents resulted in arrests, injuries, and property damage. The drunk driver faces legal consequences, while the Weilburg vandal remains in custody. Investigations into the supermarket accident and lorry fire are ongoing, with no further details released at this time.
