Chaos in Main-Taunus-Kreis: Crashes and a botched burglary shake November

A series of traffic incidents and a failed burglary attempt marked a turbulent few days in the Main-Taunus-Kreis region. Between November 6 and November 26, 2025, police dealt with multiple crashes on the A66 motorway and local roads, alongside a thwarted burglary. The events left several people injured and caused significant property damage.

The first incident occurred between November 6 and November 25, when burglars tried to force entry into a home on Weilburger Weg in Bad Soden. Their attempt failed after the patio door resisted their efforts, leaving no further damage or theft reported.

The incidents resulted in multiple injuries and substantial financial losses. Police presence increased in the area, though no further details about their patrols were made public. Authorities continue to investigate the causes of the accidents and the attempted burglary.
