CGI Appoints Ralf Bauer as New MD for Germany

CGI, a global leader in IT and business process services, has announced a change in leadership for its German operations. Ralf Bauer has been appointed as the new Managing Director of CGI's business in Germany, effective immediately.

Bauer succeeds Torsten Straß, who has taken on global leadership of CGI’s Business Engineering division. CGI shares are listed on the TSX (GIB.A) and the NYSE (GIB).

CGI offers a wide range of services, from strategic IT and business consulting to system integration and managed IT services. The company has appointed Bauer after he served as interim Managing Director for CGI's business in Germany since May 1, 2024. Previously, Bauer headed the Germany Central and South business unit, driving significant profitable growth.

CGI is one of the world’s largest independent providers of IT and business process services, employing 91,000 consultants and professionals worldwide. In fiscal year 2024, CGI reported revenue of CAD 14.68 billion.

Ralf Bauer assumes full strategic and operational responsibility for CGI's business in Germany, which employs 5,000 consultants and experts. His appointment reflects CGI’s commitment to strong leadership and continuous growth in the German market.
