A string of car break-ins occurred in Bruchenbrücken on February 6, 2026. An unknown thief targeted two vehicles parked along Bertholt-Brecht-Straße. Police are now seeking witnesses to help identify the suspect. The incident began when the thief broke into a gray Kia. From its trunk, they stole a laptop along with its bag. The same individual then moved to a nearby black Fiat.

Inside the Fiat, the suspect searched through a wallet. They took cash, a driver's licence, and the vehicle's registration document. No further details about other thefts in the area have been released. Authorities have asked anyone with information to come forward.
