Burglary Warning Issued for Altenstadt and Limeshain Residents
Residents of Altenstadt and Limeshain have been advised to stay vigilant following a series of burglaries in the area. The Criminal Police in Friedberg have urged anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.
In Limeshain, burglars attempted to gain entry to a residential building using a ladder between Wednesday, September 24th and Wednesday, October 1st, although they left empty-handed. Meanwhile, in Altenstadt, thieves broke into a single-family home through a basement window on Wednesday, October 1st, between 17:00 and 21:00, making off with cash and jewelry.
Earlier that day, a collision on the B 3 resulted in minor injuries for all four occupants of the vehicles involved. The estimated material damage from the crash is 14,000 EUR. The Criminal Police are currently investigating both the burglary in Limeshain and the collision on the B 3, and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
