Burglars raid German museum under construction, stealing historical exhibits

A private museum under construction in Lindenfels was targeted by burglars on Thursday evening. The break-in occurred around 7 p.m. on Nibelungenstraße, with thieves making off with several historical exhibits. The police have launched an investigation but have yet to identify any suspects.

The burglars forced open the front door of the building, causing roughly €500 in damage. Once inside, they searched the premises before stealing multiple items from the collection. Authorities have not released details about the stolen exhibits.

The Heppenheim police are leading the inquiry. So far, no group or individual has been linked to the theft, and the perpetrators remain unknown.
