Burglars fail to break into Eiterfeld bakery but leave costly damage
A bakery in Eiterfeld was targeted by burglars over the weekend. Unknown individuals tried to force their way into the shop on Fürstenecker Straße between Sunday evening and early Monday morning. The attempt failed, but the break-in caused damage to the property.
The incident took place between 6 p.m. on Sunday and 4:30 a.m. on Monday. The perpetrators attempted to enter the bakery but could not open the door. They eventually gave up and left the scene.
The failed break-in resulted in an estimated €1,500 worth of damage. Police are now investigating the case and have asked for public assistance.
