Büdingen police probe hit-and-run crash and vaping machine theft in one day
Police in Büdingen are investigating two separate incidents that occurred on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. A hit-and-run collision on Stammheimer Straße left a Volkswagen damaged, while a theft at a snack machine in Glauburg-Stockheim saw vapes stolen. Authorities are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
The first incident occurred at around 9:00 AM on Stammheimer Straße in Büdingen. A white van or SUV sideswiped a woman’s Volkswagen, causing roughly €1,500 in damages. The at-fault driver fled the scene without stopping to address the collision. Two female witnesses saw the crash, and police are urging them to contact investigators.
The investigations into the hit-and-run and the theft remain ongoing. Police have not yet identified the driver responsible for the collision or the suspects involved in the vaping theft. Authorities continue to request assistance from the public to gather further evidence.
