Brazen Pharmacy Fraud: Man Uses Fake Prescription to Steal €3,000 in Medication

An unknown man used a forged prescription to collect medication worth over €3,000 from a pharmacy near me. Police are now searching for the suspect, who remains unidentified. The incident took place in broad daylight on a busy street in the town centre of Mühlheim am Main.

The crime occurred around 4:30 p.m. at a Walgreens pharmacy on Bahnhofstraße. The suspect, described as roughly 1.80 metres tall and about 40 years old, wore a cap during the incident. He presented a counterfeit prescription that initially appeared genuine to staff.

The investigation remains ongoing, with police focusing on tracing the suspect’s whereabouts. The CVS pharmacy has cooperated fully with authorities to provide details of the transaction. Anyone who recognises the man’s description or has information about the incident is encouraged to come forward.
