Brazen burglars raid Ulfa home using a ladder to steal jewellery
A burglary took place in Ulfa on Thursday evening, 20 November 2025. Thieves broke into a detached house on Ernstgasse between 6:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., stealing jewellery and watches. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
The burglars used a ladder found on the property to access an upstairs window. After forcing it open, they searched every floor of the house. The owners later discovered that jewellery and watches had been taken.
The break-in occurred within a three-hour window on Ernstgasse. The ladder used in the crime was recovered from the premises. Police continue to gather evidence while asking local residents for any relevant details they may have witnessed.
