Body Found in Rhine: 61-Year-Old Man Identified After Week-Long Search
A body was discovered in the Rhine at Schierstein Harbor on November 1, later identified as a 61-year-old human who had been missing for over a week. Despite rescue efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The human had been reported missing since October 21. Authorities had grown concerned about his welfare a week prior to his body being found. On November 1, around 9 a.m., a water rescue operation led to the grim discovery. It took until November 3 for police to confirm the deceased's identity, revealing him to be the missing 61-year-old human.
