Blue Volkswagen Golf stolen from Seeheim-Jugenheim garage in bold heist

A blue Volkswagen Golf was stolen from a garage in Seeheim-Jugenheim earlier this week. The theft took place sometime between Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Police are now searching for the missing vehicle and investigating how the thieves gained access.

The car, a blue Volkswagen Golf with the licence plate DA-DP 1042, disappeared from a garage on Sandmühlstraße. The owners last saw it on Monday, March 2, at around 6:00 PM. By Tuesday, March 3, at 10:00 AM, it was gone.

Unknown individuals broke into the garage before driving away in an unknown direction. Darmstadt Criminal Police have taken over the case and are gathering evidence.

This incident follows a series of similar car thefts in the region over the past three months. In early March, a black Kia Sportage was stolen from Pommernstraße in Offenbach. A black Porsche Cayenne was also taken from Seligenstädter Grund in Heusenstamm during the night before a Saturday.

The stolen Volkswagen Golf remains missing as authorities continue their search. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the break-in is urged to contact Darmstadt Criminal Police. The investigation into the theft is ongoing.
