BIV & DUK Team Up to Expand Occupational Pension Access
The Bavarian Insurance Chamber (BIV) and the German Support Fund (DUKE) have joined forces to expand access to occupational pension provision (bAV) products. This collaboration allows brokers and multiple agents to access BIV's offerings via the DUKE platform, enabling them to set up and manage reinsurance contracts for occupational pension funding.
Thomas Vietze, the head of corporate life insurance at BIV, views this cooperation as a significant step towards widening the reach of their bAV offerings. He believes it will help meet the needs of brokers and multiple agents who can now easily access and manage these products through the DUKE.
Christian Willms, the chairman of the board at DUKE, is delighted about this collaboration. He anticipates that it will bolster occupational pension provision, making it more accessible and efficient for all parties involved.
Through this partnership, BIV and DUKE aim to strengthen occupational pension provision by providing brokers and agents with streamlined access to BIV's bAV products. This cooperation is expected to benefit both parties and enhance the overall landscape of occupational pension funding.
