There is a lady, children and a man in santa claus dress. Man is wearing specs and gloves. Boy is holding a packet. In the back there is a Christmas tree with decorations. Also there is a wall with rocks. Near to that there are toys and some decorations. There is a basket with some items. In the back there are lights.

Biebrich Christmas Market debuts second Advent weekend with festive surprises

The Biebrich Christmas Market has opened its doors for the first weekend of Advent. This year marks a special occasion, as the market welcomes visitors for the second Advent weekend for the very first time.

Located at Biebrich Palace, the market is organised by the Biebrich Associations and Clubs Alliance (AG). It features 21 stalls offering a mix of handmade crafts and festive treats, including Italian, Turkish, and Greek specialties. Among the highlights are exclusive, hand-painted Christmas baubles designed just for this event.

A children’s carousel adds to the family-friendly atmosphere. On December 6 at 4:00 PM, St. Nicholas will make an appearance, bringing 250 gift bags for children. The local council has also contributed €5,000 to fund and illuminate the grand Christmas tree, enhancing the festive ambiance. The market is seen as a must-visit for holiday lovers, providing a charming complement to the nearby Sternschnuppenmarkt.

With its blend of crafts, food, and seasonal entertainment, the Biebrich Christmas Market offers something for all ages. The extended opening for the second Advent weekend gives visitors even more time to enjoy the festive spirit in a historic setting.
