Biebrich braces for noisy concrete works as Wiesbaden plans nighttime construction chaos

Residents in Biebrich will face noise disruption from concrete works this week. The operations are scheduled for Straße der Republik 2A between Wednesday, February 4, and Thursday, February 5. Meanwhile, multiple nighttime construction projects are planned across Wiesbaden in the coming months. The concrete pouring at Straße der Republik 2A will last for two days. Local residents have been advised to prepare for increased noise during this period.

Elsewhere in the city, three major construction sites will involve overnight work. On the A643, repairs at Hagenauer Straße/Alte Schmelze are set for April 11-13, 2026, between 8 PM and 5 AM. The Vorlandbrücke in Mainz-Mombach will also see nighttime closures from February 23 to March 14, 2026, from 9 PM to 5 AM. Additionally, maintenance in the Lohbergtunnel on B426 is scheduled for April 7-10, 2026, during the same late-night hours. For those seeking updates, Wiesbaden's official website provides details on all ongoing and upcoming projects. An interactive map is also available to track construction activity across the city.

The concrete works in Biebrich will wrap up by February 5, but further nighttime disruptions are expected in other areas.
