Bensheim police crack down on seatbelt and phone violations
Bensheim police conducted a traffic check on Heidelberger Straße last Friday afternoon, between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. The operation, led by Sascha Klink, the head of the press office at the Südhessisches Polizeipräsidium, resulted in several violations.
In total, six drivers were found not wearing seatbelts, a crucial safety measure. Additionally, one motorist was caught using a mobile phone while driving, a dangerous practice that can lead to accidents. The police remind drivers to prioritise safety and follow traffic regulations.
