Belarusbank Drops Transfer Fees Between Own Cards From November 1

Belarusbank has announced a significant change in its fee structure. Starting November 1, the bank will waive charges for transfers between its own cards, regardless of the transaction amount. This news comes amidst fluctuations in the Belarusian ruble's exchange rate against major currencies.

On the penultimate day of trading, the Belarusian ruble experienced mixed fortunes against international currencies. It strengthened against the euro, falling by 0.14%, or 0.5 kopecks. However, it weakened against the dollar, Chinese yuan, and Russian ruble.

The Chinese yuan appreciated by 0.11%, adding 0.5 kopecks against the Belarusian ruble. The dollar also rose, gaining 0.13% and adding 0.4 kopecks. The Russian ruble increased the most, by 0.64%, adding 2.3 kopecks against the Belarusian ruble.

Effective November 1, Belarusbank customers can enjoy commission-free card transfers between their own cards. This move is expected to enhance customer convenience and satisfaction. Meanwhile, the Belarusian ruble's exchange rate continues to evolve in response to global market dynamics.
