A violent altercation outside a bar in Gelnhausen has left a 44-year-old man seriously injured. Police arrested a 51-year-old suspect early on Friday, November 28, 2025, following the incident near Becky’s Bar on Berliner Straße.

The confrontation took place at around 0:50 AM when the two men became involved in a heated argument. The dispute quickly escalated, resulting in severe injuries to the younger man. The 51-year-old suspect, who was under the influence of alcohol, also suffered minor injuries during the fight.

The injured 44-year-old was rushed to hospital for treatment. The suspect faces charges of attempted murder, with further legal proceedings expected. Police have not yet released additional details about the motive behind the altercation.
