Bad Hersfeld Symposium elevates emergency medicine with hands-on training and expert insights

The 12th Bad Hersfeld Emergency Physician Symposium, focused on current topics in emergency medicine, has been deemed a success. Around 50 emergency physicians, paramedics, and other specialists attended the event, which was certified by the Hessian Medical Association with 11 continuing education credits.

The symposium, organized by Bad Hersfeld Hospital, featured expert lectures and hands-on workshops on crucial topics such as megacode training, airway management, and pediatric emergency care. It also delved into 'Life-Threatening Operational Scenarios (LEBEL)' and 'Tactical Emergency Medicine'.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Soltész, Head Physician of the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, and Special Pain Therapy, emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in managing complex emergencies. The practical exercises and collegial exchange contributed significantly to the symposium's success.

Bad Hersfeld Hospital extends gratitude to all speakers, participants, and supporters for the event's success. The 13th Bad Hersfelder Notarztsymposium is planned for 2026, with the exact date yet to be announced. The symposium's certification by the Hessian Medical Association reflects its high standard and relevance to emergency medicine professionals.
