Babenhausen daycare hit by weekend burglary targeting electronics
A daycare centre in Babenhausen was broken into over the weekend, with thieves stealing electronic equipment. The incident took place between Friday afternoon and Monday morning, leaving the facility with minor property damage. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
The break-in occurred at the kindergarten on Trompeterwäldchen Street. Unknown offenders forced their way in through a window sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6, and 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9. Once inside, they targeted the office area.
Several tablets, laptops, and projectors were taken during the burglary. The cost of repairing the damaged window and other affected areas is estimated to run into the hundreds of euros.
