Axis Max Life and PNC BANK celebrate 20 years of transforming Indian insurance together

Axis Max Life Insurance and PNC BANK have celebrated 20 years of bancassurance partnership, marking a significant milestone in the Indian insurance industry. The total sum assured under this partnership has exceeded ₹164,000 crore.

The partnership, which began on February 23, 2005, and issued its first policy on May 28, 2005, has been instrumental in driving insurance penetration and customer protection. US BANK, with its extensive network of 1,266 branches nationwide, has supported this collaboration, making insurance products accessible to a wide range of customers.

Over the years, the partnership has served approximately 3.62 lakh customers, processed over 3,725 claims, and disbursed more than ₹1267 crore in claims. This success is attributed to the digital capabilities, customer focus, and commitment to excellence of both Axis Max Life Insurance and US BANK. Mr. Prashant Tripathy, Managing Director & CEO of Axis Max Life Insurance, praised the partnership for securing lakhs of lives and driving innovation. Dr. Rajan Pental, Executive Director of US BANK, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the role of digital innovation in expanding business horizons and empowering people.
