Axe-Wielding Suspect Robs Offenbach Supermarket, Police Hunt Tall Slim Man With Distinctive Eyebrows
An unidentified man, aged around 20 to 25, robbed a supermarket in Offenbach's Bieber neighborhood on Thursday evening. The suspect, described as tall and slim with distinctive eyebrows, spoke accent-free German and wore a Carhartt jacket with a white logo. He brandished an axe and made off with several hundred euros.
The incident occurred just before closing time at around 10 p.m. The man, dressed in a dark jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, baggy black jeans, and dark sneakers, entered the store on Von-Brentano-Straße. He approached the female cashier, brandishing a black-and-yellow axe, and demanded cash. Despite the ordeal, the employee was unharmed.
Police were immediately called and multiple patrol units responded. However, the search for the suspect yielded no results. Forensic investigators were deployed to the scene to secure evidence, which may aid in identifying the perpetrator.
The suspect is described as approximately 1.90 meters tall, with a slim build and distinctive eyebrows. He spoke accent-free German.
