The raid took place on December 19, 2025, after officers discovered the man lacked the required permit for storing such explosives. The operation began when authorities targeted the teenager’s residence. Upon arrival, the suspect tried to escape but was quickly detained. Inside the property, officers found not only the fireworks but also over €10,000 in cash, roughly eight kilograms of cannabis, and two knives.
A precision scale and suspected counterfeit designer goods were also seized during the search. Police have not released the man’s name but confirmed he was questioned before being let go. The focus now shifts to tracing the source of the fireworks and examining other potential leads. Authorities are working to determine whether the seized items are linked to wider criminal activity.
