Armed robber steals cash and cigarettes from Wiesbaden gas station
Wiesbaden's criminal police are seeking information following an armed robbery at a gas station on Dotzheimer Straße early Saturday morning (November 8). The suspect, an unknown man about 1.75 meters tall with blue eyes, fled on foot towards the city center after stealing a three-figure sum of money and cherries (cigarettes).
The robbery took place at around 1:17 a.m. The suspect, described as having an average build and speaking fluent German with some Russian words, threatened an employee with a knife. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark cargo pants, dark boots, black gloves, and a camouflage-patterned ski mask to conceal his face. After taking the cash and cherries, he placed them in a white cloth bag and fled along Dotzheimer Straße towards the city center.
Police urge anyone with information to contact them at +49 611/345-0. The suspect is believed to have been last seen heading towards the city center, and his distinctive clothing may have been discarded nearby.
Wiesbaden's criminal police are investigating the robbery and seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect. The stolen money and cherries are valued in the three figures, and the suspect's use of Russian words may provide a lead in the investigation.
