Five Injured in Collision Between Ambulance and Car - Ambulance, Ford Collide in Hesse; Five Injured, €85k Damage
An ambulance and a Ford car collided at an intersection in Bebra, Hesse on Thursday at 5 pm. The crash caused significant damage and injured five people, who were rushed to nearby hospitals. The driver of the Ford, a woman, has not been identified by police.
The incident occurred on Bundesstraße 27, with the ambulance en route to a hospital with sirens blaring. The collision damaged a traffic light pole, which had to be removed by the fire department. The accident area was closed off until around 9:20 pm, causing traffic diversions. Numerous emergency services and police were involved in responding to the incident. The total material damage was estimated at around €85,000. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
