Altai Krai simplifies housing access for orphans with local MFC applications

Orphans in Altai Krai now have easier access to housing certificates. Applications can be submitted at any of the 68 Multifunctional Centers (MFCs) across the region, a change from the previous process which required visiting the Regional Housing Authority in Barnaul.

Previously, orphans had to travel to Barnaul to apply for housing certificates. Now, they can conveniently submit their applications at any of the 68 MFCs scattered throughout Altai Krai. These centers also handle requests to reduce the housing lease term from five to three years for those who have already received an apartment.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Krai operates a website with detailed information about adopting children and the requirements in Biysk. This resource aims to support potential adopters and simplify the process for them.

The expansion of housing certificate application services to MFCs and the availability of adoption information online demonstrate the Altai Krai's commitment to supporting orphans and potential adopters. These changes streamline processes and make vital services more accessible.
