Alice Helbig shatters glass ceilings in Leipzig's logistics leadership

Helbig first joined Sievert Logistik in 2011, drawn to the hands-on work with drivers and the details of dispatch and route planning. By 2013, she had completed additional training as a Certified Business Economist while working full-time. That same year, she took on her first leadership position as a team supervisor in dispatch.
In 2016, her responsibilities expanded when she was promoted to Head of Freight Forwarding. The role put her in charge of 14 administrative staff and 53 drivers, along with broader duties in personnel management, financial oversight, and fleet operations. Today, she handles site revenue, profitability, and customer relationships while managing a team of 67.
Known for her direct leadership style, Helbig addresses issues immediately to challenge stereotypes in the male-dominated industry.
