Alcohol-Impaired Woman Struck in Serious Traffic Accident
A serious traffic accident occurred on Monday evening at the junction of Alt Erlenbach and Am Klingelborn. A 35-year-old woman, walking under the influence of alcohol on an unlit road, was struck by a Ford. The driver, a 66-year-old, was uninjured but the car sustained material damage.
The collision happened around 18:20, with the driver presumably failing to see the pedestrian. The woman was seriously injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. The Frankfurt am Main Police Headquarters is investigating the incident.
The accident serves as a reminder of the dangers of walking on unlit roads under the influence of alcohol. Authorities urge pedestrians to take extra precautions and drivers to remain vigilant.
