Air Astana Boosts Frankfurt to Almaty Flights to Three Weekly
Air Astana has boosted its Frankfurt to Almaty service, adding three weekly flights since June 1. The expansion, part of a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa, sees new departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, supplementing existing daily and weekly flights.
The new route is operated by a modern Airbus A321LR, offering both Business and Economy Class. The outbound flight (KC222 / LH9610) leaves Frankfurt at 8:30 AM, arriving in Almaty at 18:55 local time after approximately seven and a half hours. The return flight (KC221 / LH9611) departs Almaty at 1:30 AM, landing back in Frankfurt at 6:55 AM.
Fraport AG, operator of Frankfurt Airport, welcomes this expansion. It strengthens direct connections between Central Europe and Kazakhstan, increasing international transit traffic via Almaty. Lufthansa cooperates with Air Astana to expand flight traffic from Frankfurt to Almaty. This expansion increases the total number of weekly Air Astana flights from Frankfurt to eleven.
Air Astana's expansion from Frankfurt to Almaty offers more frequent and convenient travel options.
