Accordionist Attacked in Offenbach: Suspects at Large
A 47-year-old man was left with minor injuries and a damaged accordion after a brutal attack by two unknown assailants in Offenbach on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 10:40 PM on Herrnstraße, with the suspects fleeing on foot towards Herrnstraße/Berliner Straße.
The victim, a man in his late forties, was initially harassed by the two men, aged between 19 and 25, before being punched and kicked. The assailants, described as athletic and muscular, also damaged his accordion during the attack.
Police are now investigating the case under suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. They are seeking witnesses and have issued descriptions of the suspects. The first is approximately 1.85 meters tall, with curly hair and a light mustache, wearing a black tracksuit and black sneakers, and was riding a colorful men's bicycle. The second suspect is around 1.80 meters tall, with 'chubby cheeks', wearing a white pullover, a black jacket, and jeans.
The investigation into the attack is ongoing, with police appealing for any witnesses to come forward. The victim sustained minor injuries and is recovering from the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Offenbach police.
