Abandoned waste container found in Dietzenbach’s industrial park

An abandoned waste management container was discovered in Dietzenbach’s North Industrial Park in late October. The large, rusted container was found at the turning loop on Robert-Bosch-Straße during a routine police check. Authorities are now asking for public help to track down those responsible.

The container was first reported to city police on October 29, 2025. Inside, officers found discarded mattresses, car tyres, and several bags of bulky waste. A torn green tarp partially covered the damaged and corroded structure.

The city estimates that removing the container and disposing of its contents will cost several thousand euros. So far, no details about the person who left it have been released. Officials believe witnesses may have seen the container being dumped in late October.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Dietzenbach’s regulatory office. They can be reached by phone at (06074) 373 879 or via email at [email protected].

The investigation into the illegal dumping remains ongoing. Authorities hope public tips will lead to identifying those behind the abandoned waste. The city will cover the costs of removal but aims to hold the responsible party accountable.
