Abandoned Mall in Bensheim Burns, 5,000 Euros in Damage
An abandoned shopping mall in Bensheim, Germany, was engulfed in flames overnight on Saturday, 11th October. The fire, which caused around 5,000 euros worth of damage, was swiftly contained by firefighters. No injuries were reported.
The blaze was first noticed as smoke around 2 am, prompting a quick response from firefighters who managed to control the situation. The South Hesse Police Headquarters reported the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Criminal Police.
