75-Year-Old Driver Crashes Ford Kuga in Early Morning Fulda Accident
A serious traffic accident took place in Fulda early on Saturday morning. At around 4:40 a.m., a 75-year-old driver from Künzell crashed his car on Bardostraße, leaving the vehicle completely destroyed and causing significant damage.
The incident began when the elderly man lost control of his silver Ford Kuga. The car veered off course and struck a signpost with force. Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene.
The driver suffered injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. Authorities later confirmed the total damage from the crash would exceed €13,000. The Ford Kuga was declared a write-off due to the severity of the impact.
The accident remains under investigation by local police. The injured driver, whose name has not been released, is receiving medical treatment. Bardostraße was temporarily affected while the wreckage was cleared.
