64-Year-Old Man Vanishes in Frankfurt—Police Fear for His Safety
Harry Michael Mowinski, a 64-year-old man from Kriftel, has been missing since March 11, 2026. Police are growing increasingly concerned as all search efforts so far have failed to locate him.
Mowinski was last seen wearing jeans, a black poncho-style jacket, and black sneakers. He was carrying a black backpack at the time. Described as approximately 1.70 metres tall with a stocky build, he has distinctive features: he is toothless, walks with a limp, and has visible scars on his forehead and one cheek.
Preliminary investigations suggest he may be in Frankfurt's city centre. Authorities believe he could be in a helpless or vulnerable situation.
His disappearance follows a worrying pattern in the region. Over the last 12 months, two other cases remain unresolved in the Frankfurt am Main area: 22-year-old Lisa Neumann, who went missing in Offenbach on November 3, 2025, and 35-year-old Karim Al-Sayed, last seen in Bad Homburg on January 28, 2026.
Mowinski has now been missing for several days, with no confirmed sightings since March 11. Police continue to urge anyone with information to come forward, especially those who may have seen him in Frankfurt's city centre. The search remains active, but no new leads have emerged.
