In the picture we can see some school children are standing on the path with school uniforms and they are holding some papers in their hands and one girl is talking something near the microphone which is to the stand and behind them we can see a fencing wall and to the top of it we can see a shed with some balloons top it.

5000 Euro against silent poverty in the classroom

ESWE Versorgung has chosen to support local children this holiday season by donating €5,000 to a key educational initiative. Instead of giving corporate gifts, the company directed its funds to the School Mentors Help project, which assists students facing financial hardship in Wiesbaden.

The donation will help ensure that no child misses out on school essentials because of their family’s financial situation. In Wiesbaden, child poverty often shows up in small but critical ways—a missing school bag, an unaffordable class trip, or a lack of basic supplies.

The *School Mentors Help* initiative, run by the city’s Department III, provides quick and direct support when teachers identify a student in need. The programme is designed to offer aid without creating extra paperwork or stress for families. ESWE Versorgung’s contribution emphasises long-term impact, focusing on trust, continuity, and staying close to the community rather than one-off gestures.

The €5,000 donation will go directly to students who require immediate help with school-related costs. By working through the city’s existing support network, the funds will reach those most in need without delay. The initiative aims to remove small but significant barriers that can affect a child’s education.
