Police Seize Marijuana and Money Counting Machine - 500 grams of weed seized in Bad Hersfeld drug trafficking probe

Police in Bad Hersfeld have seized 500 grams of weed during an investigation into suspected drug trafficking. Three people were arrested in connection with the case but later released due to insufficient evidence for detention.

The operation began in October when officers targeted a group suspected of dealing cannabis. The trio—a 25-year-old woman and two men, aged 20 and 23—were taken into custody. All three reside in Bad Hersfeld.

During the search, authorities confiscated not only the weed but also a cash-counting machine and digital storage devices. The items were seized as part of the ongoing investigation into commercial cannabis trafficking.

Despite the evidence gathered, the suspects were released. Prosecutors determined there were no legal grounds to hold them in detention while inquiries continue.

The investigation remains active, with police examining the seized materials for further leads. The three individuals, though no longer in custody, are still under suspicion for their alleged involvement in the drug trade.
