21st IT Entrepreneur Day to Discuss 'Digital Sovereignty' in Frankfurt
The 21st IT Entrepreneur Day is set to take place on October 13 & 14, 2025, at the Meliá Hotel Frankfurt City. This annual event, organized by BITMi, aims to connect leading CEOs and owners of German software and IT SMEs to discuss digitization challenges and opportunities. This year's theme is 'Digital Sovereignty'.
The event expects around 300 CEOs of software and system houses. It will feature keynote speeches from representatives of German cloud providers, managed service providers, and system house cooperations, as well as a panel discussion on employee participation in IT companies. Notably, former football world champion Steffi Jones will give a keynote speech on 'Values are my compass - Clarity and humanity in entrepreneurship'.
The 'ERP System of the Year 2025' will be awarded at the event, determined by the Berlin-based Gito-Verlag. Additionally, the Federal Association of IT SMEs will award the best 'Software Made in Germany' on the second day of the event.
The IT Entrepreneur Day, running since 2005, continues to be a significant platform for German IT SMEs. This year's event promises insightful discussions and notable awards, all under the patronage of the Hessian Ministry of Digitalization and Innovation.
