17-Year-Old Arrested for Sexual Harassment, Assault at Frankfurt Supermarket
A 17-year-old youth was taken into custody following an altercation at a Frankfurt supermarket on Saturday evening. The incident involved alleged sexual harassment and assault, leaving the teenager facing multiple charges.
The disturbance occurred at a store on Buchrain Street. The youth, under the influence of alcohol, is accused of grabbing another customer's buttocks and punching them after being challenged about his behaviour. The suspect then became aggressive towards police, resisting arrest and hurling insults. He also attacked supermarket staff who attempted to intervene.
A breathalyzer test confirmed the teenager's intoxication, and a judge ordered a blood test for further analysis. After the proceedings, the 17-year-old was released into the custody of his mother.
The 17-year-old will face charges of sexual harassment, assault, and resisting arrest. The incident is still under investigation by the Frankfurt am Main Police Department.
