In a significant milestone, nearly 100 master craftsmen and craftswomen from 19 different trades received their Silver Master Certificates in Potsdam. This ceremony honoured their 25 years of dedication and exceptional skill in their respective fields.

These skilled professionals are among the 363 graduates who passed their examinations before the Potsdam Chamber of Skilled Crafts in the year 2000. While records do not detail each individual, they hail from regions such as Oberhavel, Havelland, Ostprignitz-Ruppin, Potsdam, and Brandenburg an der Havel. Notably, many of them, around 220, continue to work today as business owners or skilled professionals in western Brandenburg.

Brandenburg’s Economy Minister Daniel Keller lauded the importance of these skilled tradespeople in the state’s economic development. Chamber President Robert WĂŒst praised the honorees, highlighting their commitment to improvement over the past quarter-century. Most of the Silver Masters come from Teltow-FlĂ€ming, Potsdam-Mittelmark, and Prignitz, with other regions also well-represented.

The ceremony in Potsdam marked a significant achievement for these master craftsmen and craftswomen. Their dedication and skill, recognised after 25 years, continue to contribute to Brandenburg's economic growth and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
