10-Year-Old’s Solo Amtrak Ride Ends With a Police Station Tour and a Keepsake

A 10-year-old boy was accidentally separated from his family after boarding a train at Frankfurt’s main station. The doors closed before his parents could get on, leaving them stranded as the Amtrak train departed with their son inside.

The boy travelled alone until the train reached Friedberg station. Worried, his parents immediately contacted the police for help. Officers located the child at Friedberg and took him into their care.

Instead of simply returning him, the police gave the boy a tour of their station. They also issued him an official police ID as a keepsake. His family was later reunited with him in Friedberg. No reports mention any distressing incident during the boy’s removal from the train. The name of the police station involved has not been disclosed.

The boy safely returned to his family after a brief separation. The police ensured his wellbeing and made the experience memorable with a station tour and a special ID. No further incidents were reported from the event.
